About Us

At Abbeymoor Veterinary Centres in Sheffield, we offer our patients a total package of health care. We welcome pets of all shapes and sizes including mice, rabbits, ferrets, budgies, guinea pigs and chickens, as well as cats and dogs.

Our team of Vets, Veterinary Nurses and Support Staff provide a professional and friendly service in which the welfare of the pet is always uppermost. We all have pets (some more than others!) and understand the highs and lows of owning a pet - the fun, but also the worry when things don't go right.

We are an approved member of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons Practice Standards Scheme, which means we have passed an inspection focusing on a range of areas such as hygiene, health and safety, facilities, emergency cover, laboratory facilities and staff training.

The facilities at Abbeymoor Veterinary Centres are modern and comprehensive. Our veterinary surgeons and nurses regularly attend courses and continue to develop their knowledge and skills to ensure that their medical knowledge is relevant and up-to-date. We also work with specialists in all fields of veterinary medicine and will offer referrals if required. As well as being your first port of call, our experienced receptionists are available to assist you in dealing with any administrative elements of your pet's treatment, such as insurance claims, repeat prescriptions and booking appointments.

We are also able to offer training to veterinary nurses.

We have easy FREE parking on a slip-road outside Halifax Road Practice - and for one hour outside Abbey Lane or longer on adjacent side road.
