Resident Vets

Len Mutch

Director/Veterinary Surgeon

I have lived in Sheffield for over 30 years but originally came from Aberdeenshire. My wife Esther is a nurse, and we have two grown up children (or at least that's what they tell me), Euan and Lois. We have a mad but lovable Staffie cross called Angus, and a cat called Frodo. My veterinary interests are in herbs, and homeopathy. I enjoy camping, caravanning and walking.

Dawn Helliwell

Director/Veterinary Surgeon

I live in Sheffield with my husband, 2 teenage lads, a lovely black labrador and a mischievous cat. I have been a companion animal vet for 19 years and have loved every minute of it. I enjoy all aspects of medicine and surgery but especially enjoy treating geriatric patients and trying to help them get the most out of their twilight years. My other special interest is acupuncture and its use in pain control. In my spare time I enjoy walking, reading and foreign travel.

Sarah Tricklebank

Associate Veterinary Surgeon

I qualified in 1995 from the Royal Veterinary College, London, and after 3 years in mixed practice decided to concentrate on small animal work. I grew up in Wolverhampton and came to Sheffield in 1998 when I started working for Abbeymoor Veterinary Centres. I have two cats, Mouse and Baggins, who have been with me for over 14 years. My free time is spent with my husband Phil and my two children, Jack and Evie, cycling or walking in the Peak District.
